Southwold Suffolk
The unspoilt Georgian town of Southwold on the Heritage Coast of East Anglia, has a wide variety of shops and boutiques, selling craft, antiques, gifts and clothes, in addition to art galleries and tea rooms.
The Olde Banke House is situated in the town centre yet only a few minutes away from the beautiful sandy beach and the promenade with the renowned colourful beach huts. The recently rebuilt pier is well worth a visit with many attractions.
Southwold is a traditional fishing town and fresh fish can be bought by the harbour from the local fishing boats and of course it is the home to Adnams who still deliver to the area in a horse drawn dray.
Surrounded by miles of peaceful countryside Southwold is a haven from the demands of modern society and visitors return time and time again to savour its unique charm.
